A deal keeps the sources, information requests, analysis, and deliverables for one engagement together. You need an approved account and access to the appropriate workspace before creating it.
1

Open New deal

Choose New deal from the deals dashboard. The setup form is at /deals/new.
2

Enter the deal details

Deal name is required. Use the target company name or a project codename.Website is optional. Add the correct target-company website when you want it available as company context, including for branding workflows.
3

Choose the request list

The Request list section starts with the standard Due-Diligence-Request-List.docx template. Choose Upload to replace it with a custom file. The picker accepts the supported document formats.Plomo uses this request list to build the category tree and coverage requests for the deal.
4

Set initial access

If organization collaborators are available, choose teammates and their roles in Collaborators. The form can also offer organization access. Check these selections before creating the deal.
5

Create and open the workspace

Click Create deal. Plomo opens the deal after saving it; custom taxonomy extraction can continue in the background. If the deal was created but adding a collaborator failed, the page shows that separately and lets you open the existing deal. Resolve access in its configuration instead of creating a duplicate.

What to do next

Upload files in Sources, review the request structure in Coverage Map, and inspect any taxonomy-building or processing notice. Authorized users can update collaborator access through Configuration → Deal settings. Category organization is available through Sources; the current dashboard does not have a separate taxonomy settings editor.
