Dealmate is the deal assistant. It can search indexed sources, inspect relevant material, and build an answer with references you can check. The route and API still use the name copilot.

Start a conversation

Open Dealmate inside the deal and choose New chat. Ask a focused question, including the period, entity, or document set when relevant. Examples:
  • Which sources support revenue and EBITDA for the last three years?
  • Find change-of-control clauses in the customer contracts and cite the relevant passages.
  • Which information requests still lack supporting evidence?
  • Compare the figures in these two documents and explain any differences.
Dealmate uses sources available to the current session. Newly uploaded files may still be indexing. Revisit important questions after those sources are ready.

Check the answer

Follow document citations to inspect the underlying material. An answer may include calculations, accessible working notes, and tool results as well as document excerpts. Distinguish source-backed facts from interpretation and unresolved gaps. If the available evidence does not support a conclusion, ask Dealmate to identify the missing information. AI output can still be incomplete or incorrect, so review consequential conclusions before using them in a deliverable.

Optional tools

The conversation controls can offer Web search for public external context and analysis tools where enabled. Public research is supplementary context, not evidence that a private deal fact is true. Check external references separately from uploaded source citations. Analysis-tool availability depends on the workspace configuration. Use the controls and progress shown for the current conversation to see which tools were requested and what completed.

Save and share conversations

Conversations are saved per deal and have an owner. Use the conversation list to revisit or rename your chats. The sharing action lets the owner share a chat with deal collaborators. Collaborators can read the conversation; the owner remains the person who can continue or edit it. The sharing dialog also offers Include in deliverables context, which controls whether the shared analysis may inform investment materials. Check the sharing state before assuming teammates can see a conversation. Access to the deal and access to an individual conversation are related but separate.
