Sources accepts PDF, Word, Excel, OpenDocument spreadsheets, PowerPoint, text, Markdown, CSV, and supported images, including several Office template formats. See the complete extension list. Scanned documents may require OCR, and unsupported or unreadable files can fail validation or processing.

Yes. Keep the page open until transfers finish; accepted uploads then continue processing in the background. Search indexing and classification have separate states. Analysis performed before all sources are indexed may be incomplete.

Choose a custom request-list file or the standard template when creating the deal. Plomo extracts categories and request items. Custom extraction can continue after the workspace opens. Review the category structure in Sources and requests in Coverage Map.

No. Classification determines where a document belongs and provides confidence for review. Coverage records which requests it supports. The Coverage Map uses Missing, Partially covered, Ready for review, and Cleared to track the review workflow.

Users with editing access can use Move to in the source menu. Inspect the source first and review any affected coverage links after changing its category.

Dealmate uses indexed deal sources and accessible analysis context. Optional web search can add public external context, and enabled analysis tools can produce calculations or artifacts. Check document citations and external references according to their role in the answer.

Access is resource-specific. Dealmate conversations can be shared with collaborators to read, while the owner retains control of continuing the chat. Coverage-item notes are private. Working notes and files have their own sharing controls; check the resource’s sharing state.

Authorized users can manage collaborators and organization access through Configuration → Deal settings. Roles and capabilities determine editing, downloading, export, and management actions. Granting access to one deal does not automatically grant access to another.

Start with an investment thesis and use it to create CIM or teaser drafts. You can refine content, keep versions, and export PowerPoint or PDF. Slide design generation is enabled separately and is not enabled in the current production configuration; content-draft export remains available.
