Plomo handles the entire due diligence document workflow — from ingesting the information request, to building a deal-specific taxonomy, classifying documents, answering questions across the deal, and drafting the CIM — so your team can focus on the deal, not the paperwork. Powered by Plomo’s proprietary multimodal AI pipeline.

What Does Plomo Do?

Organize Documents

Upload deal documents and Plomo sorts them into the right categories automatically, with confidence scores so you know what to trust.

Build Your Taxonomy

Upload your information request and Plomo creates a custom category structure for the deal — no manual setup needed.

Ask, Draft, Deliver

Query your deal with the Copilot, draft a CIM grounded in your documents, and track information-request coverage in one place.

How It Works

1

Upload your information request

Start a new deal by uploading the information request document. Plomo reads it and automatically builds a taxonomy of categories and subcategories tailored to your deal.
2

Upload documents

Drag and drop your deal documents — PDFs, Word files, spreadsheets, presentations. Plomo supports 13+ file formats.
3

Review results

Documents are classified in real time. Each one gets a category, subcategory, confidence score, and review status. High-confidence results are auto-accepted; lower-confidence ones are flagged for your review.

Why Plomo?

  • End-to-end transaction handling — From information request to final review, Plomo manages the entire due diligence document workflow
  • Deal-specific taxonomies — Every deal gets its own category structure, extracted directly from the information request
  • Multimodal AI — Combines text analysis with computer vision to understand tables, charts, and document layouts
  • Confidence you can trust — Multi-round ensemble voting with anomaly detection ensures accurate results
  • Deal Copilot — Ask questions across the deal and get grounded answers cited back to the source pages
  • CIM drafting — Generate Confidential Information Memorandum slides straight from the deal’s documents
  • Coverage tracking — See exactly which information-request items have been received and what’s still outstanding
  • Works with your documents — PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, CSV, TXT, and more
  • Real-time progress — Watch documents get processed live as they move through the pipeline
  • Optimization-ready pipeline — Classification accuracy can be improved using an evolutionary optimizer with your own labeled examples (opt-in)
