Slide design generation is enabled separately for each environment and is not enabled in the current production configuration. You can work with editable content and Content draft exports. Contact the Plomo team to confirm design availability for your workspace.
1
Open Deliverables
Open the deal and select Deliverables. Existing work is saved with the deal. Choose Investment thesis to analyze the sources or continue the current thesis.
2
Develop and review the thesis
Work through the analysis and review the proposed narrative, supporting facts, and open questions. Correct unsupported claims and fill important evidence gaps before turning the thesis into slides.
3
Create a CIM or teaser
Choose CIM or Teaser when the current thesis is ready for that action. The draft uses the deal evidence and the thesis as its starting point. In Writing references, choose Add reference files to upload previous CIMs, teasers, or templates as PDF or PPTX. Choose Create writing guide, then open the resulting guide to review or edit it. The file list shows whether each reference is analyzed or needs attention.Reference materials guide writing style; their company facts should not become facts about the current target. If analysis fails, the uploaded references remain available. Check the reported status before retrying an interrupted analysis.
4
Refine the content
Select Content above the slide to edit its title and body. Open Notes & sources to review required inputs and source references. Use the assistant for targeted revisions, such as tightening the executive summary, reconciling financial figures, or identifying missing support.Use the header to switch between the investment thesis, CIM, and teaser and to choose a saved version. Undo and redo are beside those controls. Check that names, periods, units, and source references remain correct after each material revision.
5
Develop the design
Where slide design is enabled, select Design above the slide. Choose Open deck style when the deck still needs an approved visual direction. The deck-style dialog has its own preview; the main canvas continues to show the selected slide. Design references and target-company branding can inform the appearance.Review and apply the deck style before designing slides. A preview that fails design checks cannot be applied: inspect See design check details, request a change, and review the next preview. Design runs have their own progress and failure states. Check the applied slide preview before treating a design as complete; content edits can make an earlier design out of date.
6
Export the deck
Choose Export and select PowerPoint (.pptx) or PDF (.pdf).Designed slides requires every slide to have a current design. Content draft exports the current editable content layout. PowerPoint is editable; recipients may need custom fonts installed. PDF provides a fixed layout.Open the exported file and check the slides before sharing it. Being able to scroll through long content in the editor does not establish that it fits on an exported slide.
