# Review and Manage Classified Documents in Your Deal

> Verify AI classifications, correct miscategorized files, and manage review status across all documents in your Plomo deal workspace.

After Plomo classifies your documents, the next step is to review those classifications before relying on them for analysis or reporting. The Documents view gives you a structured way to work through the entire corpus — filtering by status, inspecting the evidence that drove each classification, and correcting anything that landed in the wrong category. Most deals can be fully reviewed in a single sitting once you know where to focus.

## The Documents view

Open your deal and click **Documents** in the sidebar. Documents are grouped by their assigned taxonomy category, so you can immediately see how the corpus distributes across areas such as Financial, Legal, Corporate Governance, and so on. Each row shows the document name, assigned category, confidence score, and current review status.

## Understanding review status

Plomo automatically assigns a review status to every document based on classification confidence:

| Status | Confidence score | What it means |
| ----------------- | ---------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Accepted** | ≥ 0.50 | Plomo is confident in the classification. No action is required, though you can still verify if you wish. |
| **Needs Review** | 0.30 – 0.49 | The classification is plausible but uncertain. Verify that the assigned category is correct before relying on it. |
| **Uncategorized** | \< 0.30 | Plomo could not find a confident match. Assign a category manually to bring this document into the reviewed corpus. |

Review statuses update automatically as you accept, reject, or reclassify documents.

## Inspect a document's classification

Click any document row to open the detail panel. Inside, you'll find:

* **Assigned category** — the taxonomy category Plomo selected
* **Confidence score** — a numeric score from 0 to 1 indicating classification certainty
* **Evidence text** — the specific passages from the document that most strongly supported the classification decision
* **Review status** — the current accepted / needs review / uncategorized state

The evidence panel is your primary tool for verifying accuracy. If the highlighted passages make sense for the assigned category, the classification is almost certainly correct. If the evidence looks unrelated, the document likely belongs elsewhere.

## Filter and search your documents

Use the filter bar at the top of the Documents view to narrow your focus:

* **By category** — show only documents assigned to a specific taxonomy category
* **By review status** — isolate all *Needs Review* or *Uncategorized* documents across the deal
* **By confidence level** — set a threshold to surface low-confidence classifications

Combining filters — for example, *Financial* + *Needs Review* — lets you work through one area of the deal at a time.

## Bulk actions

Select multiple documents using the checkboxes on the left of the table, then use the bulk action toolbar to:

* **Accept** all selected documents (marks them as reviewed)
* **Reject** selected documents (flags them for removal or reclassification)
* **Reclassify** selected documents to a different category in one step

Bulk actions are especially useful for large categories where most documents are clearly correct — accept the confident ones in bulk and focus your manual attention on the remainder.

## Manually reclassify a document

1. Click the document to open the detail panel.
2. Click the current category name to open the category selector.
3. Choose the correct category from the taxonomy list.
4. Confirm the change — Plomo updates the classification and recalculates the review status immediately.

<Tip>
Start your review workflow with the **Needs Review** filter. These documents are the highest-value targets for your attention — confident documents rarely need correction, and uncategorized documents often require more context before they can be properly placed.

<Tip>
If you see a pattern of miscategorizations within a particular category — for example, tax filings consistently landing under the wrong heading — consider opening **Deal Settings → Taxonomy** and refining that category's description. A clearer description gives the model better guidance and can improve classifications across the whole deal.
